Learn to identify potentially dangerous website urls, emails, and other activities online and avoid them. This will go a long way towards protecting your information. You must also install antivirus Internet security of some form to ensure your computer is not compromised. If your computer is compromised then a criminal can intercept your information even if you visit a legitimate site and so it is important to have a package that prevents such malware from getting on your computer in the first place.
